Toys Bodyboards – AKA II Logo

Worked for a brand called TOYS™ bodyboards, designed a couple logos for some of the boards in 2009 and liked the AKA LYMAN logo more than the others i designed. The other logos were kinda logos that the brand asked for but this particular logo was cool coz they said “do whatever you want and we’ll ask pro rider AKA LYMAN if he likes it and we’ll go from there”. It eventually happened, i came up with a logo which i thought was fitting AKA’s style and his board and we he represents, he’s a legend. The logo was validated by AKA himself and the Toys™ Compnay and i was stoked to see it on all AKA pro models that same year in the shops ! Aka is a rider i’ve always looked up to as he’s the most stylish dropkneer on a bodyboard and designing his logo and having Toys™ and Aka validate it was a dream come true for me.

Also helped Toys™ building their website but the site has changed since then and i no longer do it so don’t go there and think it’s my work you’re seeing.
